Admissions Process

Thank you for your interest in Faith Christian School. We believe in educating the whole child to include high academic, social, physical, and emotional development within each child (Luke 2:52, “And Jesus grew in wisdom, and in stature and favor with God and man.”). 

Our academic program, featuring small class size, coupled with our strong belief in faith-based character education and community service, truly is the model for a balanced and transformational education. Each day, your child will enter an environment with teachers who work collaboratively to inspire and challenge them.

Admission Procedures

  1. Schedule a tour of the campus: Contact the Admissions Office to arrange an initial visit to FCS. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to meet the Head of School and other staff. You will also tour our campus, and have the ability to ask any questions.
    • Families who take a tour receive a discount off of the application fee.
  2. Complete the Online Application and fill out Required Forms
    • There is a enrollment fee for each student. The amount of this fee will range from $299-$698 depending on the number of student applications per family. This fee may be refunded if the student is not accepted to the school.
    • HS/MS: Complete online reference forms (grades 6-12) and the student questionnaire's.
    • Each student will be required to furnish a valid SC immunization record, birth certificate, and social security.
    • Each family will be required to submit a copy of the Pastor Recommendation to their current church and have the church either return it directly to the school or in a sealed envelope to the applicant.
  3. You will be called with a testing appointment and interview date once all the documentation above is received and the transcripts/grades have been reviewed.
    With the completion of testing, interview and your reference file (report card, references, conduct/citizenship record), the Administration will make a decision on your application.
  4. When your application has been approved, the school will contact you.  

 

Application Notes:

  • If a student’s natural parents are divorced, a copy of custody papers is requested.
    We will send for your official records/transcripts from the previous school you attended, however, you are responsible for providing any necessary records not provided by the school.
  • If FCS does not have a program to meet your needs, the student’s request for admission will be denied and all monies paid will be refunded.
  • A limited amount of scholarship/financial aid is available to FCS students. Financial aid applications may be submitted online through FACTS. Scholarship/financial aid will be awarded beginning May 1st as long as designated funds are available.
