Community service is an integral part of FCS' mission. High School students are required to complete a minimum number of hours per year in grades 9-12.
Minimum Hour Requirements:
- 9th - 10 hours
- 10th - 15 hours
- 11th - 20 hours
- 12th - 25 hours
Students can begin earning hours toward their requirement starting June 1 of each year. Summer hours must be documented by September 1 and all other hours must be within 30 days of completion. Community service forms are available in the resource documents on Parent's Web and in the high school.
Service opportunities:
Fields to Families
Available for all ages. Volunteers needed to harvest produce for food banks in the tri-county area. Click on the web address and select volunteer. After you fill out the waiver, you will be given the available dates to volunteer. This is a year-round service opportunity.
