asking for help wrestling

with these questions.

As parents, we are encouraged to raise up our children in a Godly manner.
Ephesians 6:4 tells us to “do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up
in the training and instruction of the Lord.” In order to do that, you need to be
around them to impart this training. To help your children with these three big
questions, you need to have regular conversations with them. You need to
remind them who they are in Christ. You need to let them know that God has a
purpose for their life. You need to tell them that if they walk the path God has for
them, they will make a bigger difference than they will ever know.
These questions are not just for our children. We often ask ourselves these
questions. Maybe, while helping our children with these questions, God will drop
the answers in our heart for our children and for us. Maybe if I had talked this
through with my parents when I was a teenager, I would not have wrestled with
this question after I had farmed for three years. After three years of God letting
me do what I wanted, He nudged me out of farming and into education. Only
God knows how things could have or would have been different if I knew where I
fit in and what kind of difference I could make at an earlier age. God’s plans are

better than our plans, and His ways are better than our ways.

God Bless,
David
